Dr. James B. Oliver was honored for his continued dedication and professional leadership by the Alabama Big-3 Historically Black Colleges & Universities at its 3^rd Annual scholarship Gala.

The celebration took place on May 22, 2010 at the Conference Center in Washington, DC and was hosted by the DC Metro Area Alumni Chapters.

Congratulations Dr. James B. Oliver, ASU Director of Bands !!

Other Honorees were Dr. Ernest L. Knight, Educator and Philanthropist from AAMU and Dr. Benjamin F. Payton, President of Tuskegee University

Dr. James B. Oliver was honored for his 30 Years of Service in Music by the TAU BETA SIGMA National Honorary Band Sorority Delta Theta Chapter.

The celebration took place on March 16, 2010 at the Capital City Club in Montgomery, AL and was hosted by the ASU TAU BETA SIGMA Delta Theta Chapter.
